Strong Keyworth side demolish Castle Donington
In filthy conditions, a combined Keyworth first and second team were too strong for a combatative Castle Donington second string.
It took Keyworth a good 20 minutes or more to break down a strong Castle Donington side, but once they did it was literally one-way traffic and Keyworth ran out winners by 60 points.
With Keyworth 1st XV without a fixture and numerous cry-offs from the seconds, Keyworth had little choice than to field a mixed team, which was obviously a lot stronger than it would otherwise have been.
Castle Donington did themselves no favours however, by continually kicking away possession to a Keyworth back 3 who were in rampant form and ran everything back with interest. The Keyworth scorers were:
